Thank You.

Thank you for being there for me through some of the most difficult times in my life.
Thank you for being genuinely happy for my success and good fortune, as if it were your own.
Thank you for forgiving my faults, and immature lapses in judgment, and for tolerating my idiosyncrasies.
Thank you for the phone calls, notes, e-mails, texts, and PMs of support when I was overwhelmed with life.
Thank you for being my friend always, not just when it was convenient.
Thanks for letting me vent, and trusting me enough to tell me what’s bothering you.
Thank you for making time for me, even on your busiest days.
Thank you for not letting time or distance affects our friendship.
Thank you for being honest with me when I really needed you to be.
Thank you for asking how I’m doing, and actually wanting to hear the answer.
Thank you for hugs, smiles, inside jokes, and memories.
Thanks for understanding that I could never write a long enough blog post to express how much you all mean to me.

Day of Few Expectations

…woke-up 4:30am, still sleepy, but have to leave early for Makati. Seeing my old school and the DBTI field where I first learned football – gave me back the joy and the peace of mind that I had when I was still a stupid young boy. The expectations are low – “I am here to play”, that’s it. I was asked to handle our senior team and gave it the name “Super Seniors” – named after the Korean boy band, Super Juniors. We were also told that we need to create another team for the Men’s Open Division, and we decided to name it – “Team Omega”… not because of any fraternity or sponsorship of an expensive watch but because of the pain killer/liniment used by the guys. One game after the other, from one field to another – losing a game, winning shoot-outs, beating tough teams… all of the teams are well balanced… the combination of the strength and aggressiveness of the boys and the wisdom of the veterans resulted to the historical back to back championship… and yet my expectations that day are low… that is why I Love Football.

Daily Tumbles and Turns

... the feeling of emptiness and self pity are dangerous. Do not allow yourself to be trapped... do not even entertain the thought of not being worthy of living...

NikNok Manok - Funny Komiks

Reading is so much fun when I was younger.

The Pinoy version of Dennis the Menace.

Who would also forget the tandem of Matsutsu and Bardagol in the Planet Opdi Eyps.

Andyan din si Super Dog, Dr. Wolf at Propesor Hyena.

Happy childhood and memories.

Bachelor of Laws Major in Impeachment

Gusto mo bang kumita ng malaki at makilala kahit pro-bono ang mga gagawin mo? Magaral ka ng Bachelor of Laws - Major in Impeachment.

Enjoy the classes at the comfort of your own home!

Bachelor of Laws – Major in Impeachment. May scholarship ang MalacaƱang - grab the opportunity.

Re-Unions - Batch 86' Batang Pio del Pilar

Re-Unions

Year - 1986, I was just an ordinary student attending an extra ordinary class made-up of the best Grade 6 students of Pio del Pilar Elementary School I. We've had our share of sacrifices, by having our classes in the covered court of St. John Bosco Parish - rain or shine, people power or revolution, we are there (1986 is an important year in the history of the Philippines). Our old wooden school (Pio Del Pilar Elementary School I) was torn down and has to undergo construction. I remember, few weeks before the construction, I was helping my teacher (Mr. Taburnal) in making a walkway in the middle of our school garden... what a timing!

There are times that it's hard to understand the lectures, the sound of the jeepneys and the noise made by other classes - blackboards are used as divisions of makeshift classrooms, can drown the tired and weary voice of our devoted teachers.

At that time, I was afraid and don't want to graduate (it's a secret), for I am unsure if I can continue my studies, but with God's grace and hard-work by my parents - what happened next is a story that I will tell later – by the way I am an Industrial Engineer and taking my MBA.

Year – 2012, one can really never tell what’s beyond the bend… old ties are being re-united, long lost friends are found and best of all - making confusing meet-up schedules and plans – adding more zest and excitement. I love Re-Unions, I love listening to stories of miss-adventures and "first loves" - it also makes me remember the stupid and crazy things that I made or in connivance with buddies. My youth is filled with stories worth telling - how I wish I was young again... no regrets, it's just a wish anyways.

By the way - I am at the Top Row, 4th from the Left.

Sun, Sand and Water - It's More Fun in the Philippines

It's more fun in the Philippines - I agree.

An archipelago comprising of 7,107 majestic islands, the Philippines is categorized broadly into three main geographical divisions - Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

The Philippines is so diverse that a lifetime is not enough to discover its secrets and wonders.

The Road Not Taken

The Road Not Taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I —
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
